Hi there! I’m Alex Wang, a first year Health Sciences student at McMaster University. I am passionate about biology, math, healthcare and community service. In particular, I’m interested in bridging the gap between the intricacies of scientific research and clinical/patient experiences.
My 5+ years of volunteer work in various senior homes and healthcare environments across Toronto and Hamilton has fueled my interest in healthcare and medicine. I now lead events for McMaster’s chapter of Seniors With Skills, who partners with various senior homes across Hamilton to reduce senior isolation and fundraise for events.
